Who We Are

Welcome to the Prince William County Education Reform Blog.

This blog was founded in 2009 by a group of parents striving to improve the quality of instruction our children receive in Prince William County Schools.  We support open, honest, transparent public debate of the issues facing our children and their education.

We believe our elected officials answer to and represent us, the citizens of this county.  Through oversight of school board and district activities, we hope to inform you of the issues facing the school district so that we can hold our elected officials accountable for the decisions they make.

None of us are compensated for the time we dedicate to this cause.  We are not affiliated with, endorsed, or backed by any political party or organization.

While we are not financially supported by any national organization or group, we are proud supporters and members of the American Math Forum, formerly NYC HOLD NATIONAL, a national coalition of parents, educators, mathematicians, scientists, and other concerned citizens striving to improve the quality of education for all of our nation’s children.  NYC HOLD NATIONAL just celebrated its 12 year anniversary as a leader in US Mathematics Education Advocacy.
